Jupin International was engaged by a nationally recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit to conduct a due diligence check on a potential donor.

As a non-profit, this organization accepts donations that are ultimately factored  into their annual financial planning process.  This donor had pledged a sizable, multi-year gift and the non-profit wanted to ensure the donation was both credible and viable.

We leveraged our global network of experts and prepared a detailed report.  As a result of our findings, the organization discontinued their relationship with the donor.  While each situation is unique, in this instance our investigation helped to safeguard this organization from potential public embarrassment and other related issues.

A high-profile client believed he was the victim of fraud via a multi-million dollar embezzlement scheme.  We conducted a thorough investigation and gathered evidence to identify the perpetrator and prove a crime had been committed.  We then partnered with federal law enforcement to bring the offender to justice.

The defendant ultimately pled guilty to fraud and the company was awarded +$5M in damages including attorney's fees and others expenses.

While this was an especially complicated case involving employee and associate interviews, analysis and internal due diligence, the JI team is well-equipped to manage these complexities and was happy to deliver the right outcome to our valued client.  

We were retained by a law firm to support their client's cohabitation case.  This client was paying court-ordered alimony to his ex-spouse; however, alimony can be modified or terminated if the recipient spouse is shown to be in a cohabitation relationship with another person for a period of time.  The client believed his ex-spouse was in violation of this agreement and wanted evidence. We assembled a team to perform on-site surveillance and gather static camera footage, providing clear evidence that there was reason to believe a close, personal relationship existed.  Our photographic and video evidence was critical in supporting the client's case and he is actively pursuing the termination of his alimony payments with the court.

With workplace violence sadly on the rise, we are often asked to conduct site vulnerability assessments.  We recently conducted one for a subsidiary of a Fortune 500 company located in a metropolitan city in the Northeast.

The "campus" included multiple buildings and parking lots as well as the neighborhood in and around the campus and the public transit system.  We visited multiple times, walking the grounds, taking photographs and interviewing key stakeholders.  The result was a detailed findings report identifying areas of vulnerability and suggested remediation solutions.

Recent school shootings like Parkland, Florida have reinforced the importance of having qualified and trained school resource officers (SROs) on site at schools.  JI had the privilege of providing both tactical and firearms training for a group of SROs, newly-empowered to carry weapons.

Training occurred over multiple days and involved on site tactics and drills as well as firearms training as a local shooting range.  Following the program, each SRO was given a certificate of completion.
